This part is exactly what was needed to breathe new life into my aged Maytag stack washer-dryer. My dryer had started making noise, and was not drying - google research pointed to this as the most likely part to have failed, and indeed it was. A relatively easy repair - just requires keeping things organized and in order. Hardest part was the split ring removal and replacement on the wheel (I don't own a spring-clip pliers), but I was able to complete the repair with normal hand tools. I did the entire repair with the washer in place - just turned off the electrical breaker. Most repair videos I found dealt with the standalone dryer, but I finally found one about the stacking dryer on YouTube channel KevReviews that was helpful in performing the repair: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvH-_NJx3D0
