Make sure the engine is cool before you begin this repair, and remove the wire and boot from the spark plug to prevent the engine from starting up.

This part is available as an individual replacement. The vent attaches to the fuel line grommet and is made of plastic. When replacing this item a set of pliers may be needed. It will need to be replaced if it becomes broken. This is an authentic Echo and Shindaiwa replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with blowers, cultivators, edgers, pumps, saws, and trimmers.

This air purge body assembly is a genuine OEM component. It is specially designed for use with Little Wonder, Echo, and Shindaiwa handheld lawn and garden equipment. By pressing on the purge bulb, it will force fuel into the fuel line from the fuel tank into the carburetor. Once the carburetor is full of fuel, the excess fuel will be purged back into the tank in the fuel return line. At some time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack and need to be replaced. To ensure the correct installation of the new part, refer to the diagrams of your specific model. You will need a screwdriver to remove the old assembly and connect the new one. Keep in mind this air purge body is sold as an individual item. Note, the rubber bulb is not included, it is sold separately.
