This gas range oven igniter is compatible with various models of LG gas ranges. It is made up of the igniter element, wire harness, connector and mounting bracket. The igniter is responsible for generating the heat needed to ignite the gas and create a flame for you to cook your food. You can find the igniter located near the oven burner. If your igniter is faulty, you will likely notice that it does not glow, or it glows dimly, the flame is weak, or there is no ignition at all.
